live shows
I like music. Almost any kind of music, from Dave Matthews to Pink Floyd to classical pieces. I put some stipulations on the term “music,” though. Manufactured Disney boy bands and distorted screaming death metal don’t count as music for me (at least from an artistic point of view), so if it involves prancing around a stage singing along to a pre-recorded vocal track, or screaming incoherent crap into a microphone, keep it away from me.
Anyway, a friend of mine hooked me up with a couple of DMB bootlegs, and since then it seems that I’ve formed a little bit of a hobby out of collecting live shows on cd. Feel free to browse the list, and if there’s something you want just let me know.
At one point, my list was hosted on this website, but then I found an easier way. My list is hosted by the folks at db.etree.org. They make life easy as far as that kind of stuff goes, even if the server is slow at times. Eventually, I’ll find some way to list all of my shows on my own website, but for now, here’s the list:
This list is not complete. At a certain point I started downloading live shows but never burning them to disc – none of those shows ever made it onto my etree.org list. One of these days I’ll try to fix that. Yeah, yeah, I know – I say that a lot these days.
