preparations were made for a celebration day
been a while, huh?
im pretty sure at this point i post just to hear myself talk. or see myself talk. or whatever.
im making good progress on my christmas list, and for the first time in at least four years, i’m getting a bunch of smaller presents (as opposed to one bigger present.) some video games, some dvd’s, a book or two, a good set of headphones, so on and so forth.
i’ve got quite the busy week coming up here. after work tomorrow i have to go to the wake for my uncle nat who died yesterday. friday i miss work to go to the funeral. saturday and maybe sunday i have to go christmas shopping for everyone (since i haven’t started yet,) and pick up a ton of pet supplies (crickets for lizards, food litter and god knows what else for ferrets, food and litter for the hedgehog…)
monday through thursday i work, and spend my evenings cleaning the house and preparing for friday and saturday…
because we’re having christmas here this year. bummer.
that in and of itself is not a bad thing, but i know how it will go. everything will be okay and we’ll be getting the house all together. we’ll have all kinds of plans and timelines and other shit to do, and all the careful planning will be blown to shit because christmas eve will get here and everyone will FREAK OUT.
so we’ll see how it goes, i guess.
kind of an abrupt ending, i suppose, but it’s all i really have to say right now.
then again, it doesnt matter if no one is reading.
