so, im looking around at some “ticket broker” (read: legal scalpers) websites looking for john mayer tickets for April 20th.
sold out, and the brokers didn’t have a single one, much less two.
but they DID have tickets to john mayer in wisconsin, which is also sold out.
general admission seats face value at $15. you know what they want for ONE? $90! 90 BUCKS!
that’s elton john & billy joel money.
fucking CRIMINAL. piss on that.
on the brighter side, theres still time to hit up jack johnson, five for fighting, and tenacious d — that is, if i can convince someone to go with me.
if nothing else, i’ve got dmb in chicago (row 4 both nights) and dmb in st. louis (row O and row FF).
the sad part? sandstone? deCLINED. and now im not even sure i can go as i might have to pick up the rents that day.
we shall see.

only a month to chi-town. good shit, good shit — i’m needing my dmb fix. hell, its been almost a year now.
hah, im such a freak.
anyhow, yeah, the 4th row tickets came the other day. they’re safely locked up in the lockbox in my room. now i just need to get a hotel room and im SET.
we’re also thinking about getting tickets to jerry springer for that friday before the show (if it doesnt conflict with the show itself.) now we just need to finish burning the 7/6 and 7/7 to hand out in the lot and we’re set to go. gonna be a good time.
still waiting for riverport tickets to clear the credit card, though. and speaking of still waiting, im still waiting for my federal tax refund so i can start getting myself out of debt. thats right, im getting out of debt. at least, most of it. im sick of worrying about it, so the obvious answer is to spend less money on bullshit and pay off the bills. woohoo!
also, we’re days away from closing the site for a few days to kick on the remodel. i know how i want everything to look, now it’s just a matter of coding it in, most of which is also done.
