fucked… AGAIN!
i just got royally fucked, once again. im so angry i could burn this fucking college to the ground.
anyway, something to know beforehand. umsl works like this: you sign up for a class, classes start. once classes start, teachers are supposed to take attendance the ENTIRE FIRST WEEK of class, and submit the attendance rosters. everyone who didnt make it to any class meetings for a class get dropped. so, if suzy signs up for a tuesday-thursday class, and goes tuesday, thursday, or tuesday AND thursday, she’s good to go. if she doesnt make it to EITHER ONE, she’s dropped from the class to make room for waitlisted people, assuming there are any. this is supposed to happen the FIRST week of class, not the second, and absolutely not on the third week.
so im taking a class with a teacher who i’m not going to name (gotta cover that big ass o’ mine). i go the first week. i go the second week. third week? i miss tuesday and make it to thursday. i know in advance that i cant make it to tuesday’s class, so i emal the teacher, let him know whats up.
what do i find out ON ACCIDENT today? that the teacher FAILED to do his attendence check on the first week, FAILED to do it the second week, and so took his attendence roll the THIRD week. what happened? i wasnt there. even though i SENT him an email, he fucking DROPPED ME!
so, i call him after class and say “hey, how come i was dropped from this class?”
“i dont know. i just fill out form. no can help you. bye.”
and hung up on me.
HELL. NO.
so, i just got off the phone with the deans office. its really not that big of a deal, except for the fact that im getting fucked because of some cant-speak-english-in-an-english-speaking-country motherfucker who didn’t do his job the way he was supposed to. so now im down to 9 credit hours, im not a full time student, i lose my loan, i lose my insurance coverage, et cetera. FUCKED.
so, i got on the phone with the dean, STAT. i was pissed as hell, and he knew it. normally, you dont swear on the phone with the dean of your university, but i did anyway. he’s taking care of the matter from here, and im supposed to call him later on today.
unacceptable. i will NOT be FUCKED by some teachers complete inability to folow instructions and do his job like he’s supposed to. it’s NOT my fault he’s incompetent, i will NOT be penalized for his unorganization!
more later, im sure. id better go to this next class before i get dropped from that one too.

on a humerous note, i was in the bathroom at school today, and above the toilet paper, someone wrote with a marker “UMSL Diplomas — Please Take One!”
